Travel RN Opportunity – Emergency Department

Location: Wilson, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility Overview

294-bed hospital, Joint Commission Accredited
Services include cancer care, cardiac care, orthopedics, imaging, surgical services
Located 45 miles east of Raleigh, NC
Close to major universities (Duke, NC State, UNC Chapel Hill, East Carolina University)
15-minute drive to Lake Wilson

Position Details

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED)
Number of Openings: Varies
Shift: Varies
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: None
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years ED experience
Education Required: Associate Degree in Nursing
Float Requirements: Like assignment

Patient Ratios: 1:4-5 (flexible depending on acuity)
Equipment: GE Monitors, standard ED equipment
Electronic Health Record (EHR): Meditech (experience preferred)
Patient Population: All ages (geriatric, adult, pediatric)
