Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel)

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Perform computerized tomographic procedures for diagnosis of disease and injury according to radiologist protocols.
  • Work schedule:
    • Saturday/Sunday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM
    • Monday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Required Credentials and Certifications

  • BLS (Basic Life Support): Must be AHA certified.
  • Current CT Technologist License: Primary source verification within 30 days prior to assignment start.
  • Ascension Core Competencies: HIPAA, Joint Commission NPSG, OSHA topics; completed within a year of start and updated yearly (minimum 80% score).
  • Ascension Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding Education Attestation: Must be completed and uploaded prior to start.
  • Health Statement: Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
  • Driver’s License/State ID: Must be valid and not expired; address must match licensing requirements.
  • Ascension Skills Checklist: Clinical skills checklist completed within one year of start and updated annually.
  • Ascension Criminal Background Check: Includes Social Security Trace, Employment Verification, OIG Search, National Sex Offender check; completed within 30 days of assignment start and updated annually.
  • Ascension EPLS (Excluded Parties List System): Run within 90 days of start; rerun if break in service > 90 days.
  • Ascension Education Verification: Verification of education relevant to clinical work within 90 days of start; updated if break in service > 90 days.
  • Ascension Confirmation of Assignment: Provided upon initial assignment and updated with each extension.
  • Ascension Employment Verification: Third-party employment verification for past 7 years; updated annually or if break in service > 90 days.

Required Immunizations and Health Screenings

  • MMR: Documented proof of two vaccines or positive IGG titer; no declinations accepted.
  • Varicella: Documented proof of two vaccines, serological immunity, or verified history; no declinations accepted.
  • Tdap: Valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted.
  • Hepatitis B: Documentation of vaccination series completion or signed declination.
  • Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31); exemptions accepted but mask required.
  • Fit Test: Required for all travelers; preferred prior to start, can be completed onsite.
  • 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot): Required within specified timeframes; TB Questionnaire updated annually.
  • Positive PPD - Negative Chest X-Ray and Annual TB Questionnaire: Required if applicable.
  • Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen: Completed within 30 days prior to start; includes testing for 12 specified substances with MRO review if needed.

Additional Notes

  • Flu season mask policy applies for 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 seasons.
  • Forward-facing headshot with white or blue background required for badge photo.
  • Medical Imaging Contract Worker Form completed onsite by facility.
  • Some documents must be submitted prior to assignment start; others may be completed onsite or uploaded by agency.
