Job Opportunity: Mammography Technician

Location: Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Monday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Tuesday: Off
• Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Required Credentials and Compliance

Licenses & Certifications

• Professional License/Certificate Verification:

  • Primary source verification required within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration.
  • MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted.
  • Nursing licenses require verification through NURSYS and BON.
• ARRT Certification: Required for onboarding.

Personal Health Requirements

• MMR Vaccination or Immunity:

  • Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine OR two MMR vaccines.
  • Alternatively, proof of immunity via blood test.
• Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 – April 30). No exemptions allowed.
• TB Test:

  • Documentation of TB skin test within 3 months of start date or negative QuantiFERON TB Test or T-spot blood test within 3 months.
  • Must be updated if there is a break in service longer than 6 months.
• Health Statement: Physician statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date; updated if >6 month break.
• Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) Attestation: Required if fit testing is needed for the role.
• Hepatitis B Vaccine: Strongly preferred but optional.
• Tdap Vaccine: Preferred, must be within 10 years.
• Positive PPD with Negative Chest X-Ray: Optional, if applicable.
• TB Symptom Survey: Optional, if positive PPD.

Professional Background Checks and Documentation

• Criminal Background Check: Within 45 days prior to start and updated if >6 month break. Includes international searches if applicable.
• Massachusetts CORI Check: Within 30 days prior to start and updated if >6 month break.
• National Sex Offender Registry Check: Within 30 days prior to start and updated annually.
• Exclusion Checks: Within 30 days prior to start and annually. Includes OIG, GSA, MassHealth, and NH Medicaid lists.
• Social Security Number Trace: Must be run with criminal background check covering last 7 years.
• Education Verification: Verified through background check company; highest level of education must be confirmed.
• References: Two recent references required, including at least one supervisor or higher in the relevant skillset.
• Resume: Must include past 7 years of work experience with city and state for all positions and education.

• Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required for onboarding and assignment extensions.

This position requires compliance with all credentialing, health, and background check requirements prior to and during the assignment.
