Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

Location: Salem, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Shift: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM (36 hours/week)
• Unit: CT
• Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic CT procedures with high proficiency following established policies and protocols
  • Ensure patient safety during all procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service
• Experience:

  • 1 year of CT experience preferred but not required
• Required Skills:

  • Proficient CT scanning
  • IV and oral/GI contrast administration
  • Ability to respond effectively in emergencies
  • EMR documentation (Epic, Visage)
  • Effective communication and organizational skills
  • Professional and positive demeanor
• Equipment Experience:

  • GE CT scanner experience preferred but not required
• Shift Requirements:

  • Rotating shifts as required
• Certifications:

  • ARRT (CT) certification
  • Massachusetts state license in Computed Tomography

Required Credentials & Compliance

• Certifications:

  • ARRT (CT)
  • BLS (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military; AHA preferred)
• Licenses:

  • Massachusetts state license in Computed Tomography (Primary source verification required)
  • No conditional licenses accepted
• Health Requirements:

  • Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date, updated annually
  • MMR vaccination or proof of immunity
  • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30)
  • TB test (skin test or blood test) within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity strongly preferred
  • Health statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break
  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred
• Background Checks:

  • Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date, updated if >6 month break
  • Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date, updated if >6 month break
  • National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start date, updated annually
  • Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth, NH Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start date, updated annually
  • Social Security Number trace as part of background check
• Documentation Required for Submission:

  • Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city & state
  • Two recent references (minimum one supervisor or above in skillset)
  • Skills checklist
  • Candidate submission coversheet
• Additional:

  • Respirator Medical Clearance attestation required if fit test is required
  • Confirmation of assignment/POI form required for all initial assignments and extensions

This position is ideal for CT Technologists with or without extensive experience who are comfortable working night shifts and have or are willing to obtain the required certifications and health clearances.
