Description
Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technician
Location: Springfield, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Shift options: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- On-call rotation required: every 3rd weekend or more if willing
- 2 to 3 evenings per week
Required Certifications & Skills
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required for direct patient care
- Epic experience preferred
Onboarding & Compliance Requirements
Candidates must provide the following documentation and meet these requirements prior to starting:
Licenses & Certifications
- Current license/certification verification dated within 30 days of start
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Trinity-specific forms including Code of Conduct, I9, Confidentiality Agreement, Integrity and Audit Services Form, Conflict of Interest Disclosure, Criminal Background Check, Education Verification, EPLS, GSA/OIG, Joint Commission Testing, NSO, System Access Form, MA CORI (if assignment in MA), and OFAC screening
Health & Immunizations
- Fit Test
- Trinity Respirator Evaluation (physician signature required)
- COVID-19 vaccine proof (including booster by Sept 2025) or approved exemption
- MMR: proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer lab results
- Hepatitis B vaccination series (at least first shot prior to start)
- Influenza vaccine proof or declination (for 10/1/2024 - 4/30/2025 and 10/1/2025 - 4/30/2026 seasons)
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with chest x-ray if positive TB (within 1 year for MA)
- Varicella vaccination proof or IgG titer lab results
- Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work (exam within last year)
- Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)
- Tdap vaccine or declination (declination accepted if no pediatric interaction)
Skills & Professional Documentation
- Trinity Skills Checklist (provided by agency for clinical contractors)
- Resume, Skills Checklist within the last year, and 2 professional references
Additional Notes
- All required documentation must be uploaded to the designated system prior to or at onboarding.
- Background checks and verifications must be current (mostly within 30 days of start).
- Compliance with Trinity Health policies and procedures is mandatory.
This position is ideal for healthcare professionals with interventional radiology experience who are flexible with on-call and evening shifts and meet the comprehensive credentialing and health requirements.
