Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Technician

Location: Springfield, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Shift options: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
• On-call rotation required: every 3rd weekend or more if willing
• 2 to 3 evenings per week

Required Certifications & Skills

• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required for direct patient care
• Epic experience preferred

Onboarding & Compliance Requirements

Candidates must provide the following documentation and meet these requirements prior to starting:

Licenses & Certifications

• Current license/certification verification dated within 30 days of start
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Trinity-specific forms including Code of Conduct, I9, Confidentiality Agreement, Integrity and Audit Services Form, Conflict of Interest Disclosure, Criminal Background Check, Education Verification, EPLS, GSA/OIG, Joint Commission Testing, NSO, System Access Form, MA CORI (if assignment in MA), and OFAC screening

Health & Immunizations

• Fit Test
• Trinity Respirator Evaluation (physician signature required)
• COVID-19 vaccine proof (including booster by Sept 2025) or approved exemption
• MMR: proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer lab results
• Hepatitis B vaccination series (at least first shot prior to start)
• Influenza vaccine proof or declination (for 10/1/2024 - 4/30/2025 and 10/1/2025 - 4/30/2026 seasons)
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with chest x-ray if positive TB (within 1 year for MA)
• Varicella vaccination proof or IgG titer lab results
• Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work (exam within last year)
• Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)
• Tdap vaccine or declination (declination accepted if no pediatric interaction)

Skills & Professional Documentation

• Trinity Skills Checklist (provided by agency for clinical contractors)
• Resume, Skills Checklist within the last year, and 2 professional references

Additional Notes

• All required documentation must be uploaded to the designated system prior to or at onboarding.
• Background checks and verifications must be current (mostly within 30 days of start).
• Compliance with Trinity Health policies and procedures is mandatory.

This position is ideal for healthcare professionals with interventional radiology experience who are flexible with on-call and evening shifts and meet the comprehensive credentialing and health requirements.
