    Description

    Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology (Travel/Contract)

    Location: Palo Alto, California
    Contract Length: 13 weeks


    Shift Details

    • Possible shifts include:
      • Weekends: 7 AM - 3 PM
      • Weekdays: Variable between 7 AM - 5 PM
    • Must be willing to work weekends, weekdays, and some evening shifts
    • Overtime may be available

    Required Certifications & Licenses

    • CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
    • ARRT in Mammography preferred

    Preferred Certifications (Verify by position)

    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
    • CCRN (Critical Care RN)
    • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
    • EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
    • IV Certification (as applicable)
    • Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
    • NIH Stroke Certification
    • CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)
    • Miscellaneous certifications such as Nuchal Translucency and Nasal Bone Imaging for Maternal-Fetal Ultrasound Technologists

    Background & Verification Requirements

    • 7-year background check including:
      • Social Security trace with all aliases
      • County searches for last 7 years of residence/work/school
      • Nationwide sex offender search (within 90 days of start)
      • Education verification (highest level achieved, not required if high school)
      • FACIS Level 3 screening within 2 weeks of start and monthly thereafter
      • EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, OFAC sanctions list (as applicable)
    • Employment history verification for last 7 years with no gaps over 30 days
    • Professional references (2 for clinical/allied/per diem acute care; 1 for per diem non-acute care)
    • Transcript/Diploma verification as needed
    • State license verification and NURSYS verification (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP) within 30 days of start

    Health & Immunization Requirements

    • Physical exam within 1 year of start (must state "cleared for work")
    • Fit mask test within 1 year, renewed annually (exceptions apply)
    • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap within 10 years (TDAP required, TD alone not accepted)
    • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 90 days, renewed annually
    • Immunizations or positive titers for:
      • Rubeola (Measles)
      • Mumps
      • Rubella
      • Hepatitis B (series or declination)
      • Varicella
    • Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids per CA law)
    • Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination during flu season (Nov 1 - Apr 30)
    • Color blind exam (in-person, if applicable)
    • Respiratory safety clearance prior to start, renewed annually (exceptions apply)
    • COVID-19 vaccine not required

    • Candidates must review and sign various facility policies and attestations prior to start, including but not limited to:
      • Job description

      • HIPAA acknowledgment

    • TB screening questionnaire required within 90 days of start and annually thereafter
    • Religious exemption forms for PAPR and vaccine accommodations handled on a case-by-case basis

    • Personal or auto insurance required only for driving/home health positions
    • Unit-specific skills checklist required and renewed annually (clinical only)
    • Candidates must have a complete 7-year work history in the application with no gaps
    • Some certifications and requirements may vary by position; verify with clinical lead or manager

    This position requires flexibility in scheduling, comprehensive background and health clearances, and adherence to facility-specific policies and training.
