Travel RN - Critical Care (CCU)

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Position Details

  • Specialty: Critical Care
  • Role: Registered Nurse (RN)

  • Shift: Every other weekend, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Fri/Sat nights)
  • Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
  • Call/Holiday Coverage: No call; holidays as needed
  • Required Certifications: ACLS
  • Years of Experience Required: 2+ years in Critical Care
  • Prior Travel Experience: Not specified (assumed not required)
  • Float Requirements: Must be able to float to step-down or other critical care units

  • Patient Ratios: 1:2
  • Type of Patients: ICU, cardiac
  • Equipment: Ventilator
  • EMR System: Epic

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience with ventilators
  • Experience managing titratable drips
  • Preferred: ICU experience
  • Personality fit: Team-oriented

Additional Information

  • Dress Code: Navy scrubs; hoodies and sweatshirts are not acceptable
  • Reporting Location: 3rd floor Heart Center, CCU
  • Equipment Provided: Drawer key for medication/sharps storage in patient rooms
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

This position offers a critical care travel nursing opportunity in a cardiac care unit with a focus on ventilator management and titratable drips, requiring at least 2 years of critical care experience and ACLS certification.
