Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel/Contract Position
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Job Requirements & Details
- Experience: Minimum 2 years required
- Licensing: PA license not required
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required
- ARRT (R) (MR) required
- Schedule:
- Weekend requirement: Friday only as part of Monday-Friday schedule
- On-call: 1 or 2 nights per week (12:00 AM - 8:00 AM) and every 5th weekend (Saturday/Sunday, 24 hours)
- Preferred Experience: Philips MRI experience preferred
- Charting System: Centricity
- Floating: Not required
- First-time travelers: Accepted

- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Tech Certification Verification (National)
- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (annual update required)
- Pass/Fail Testing Acknowledgement (for Dysrhythmia Exam during orientation)
- State License Verification (Primary Source Verification required)
- NURSYS Verification (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP as applicable)
- NIH Stroke Certification (Relias or CEdirect accepted)
- Pass/Fail Basic Dysrhythmia Exam during orientation (one attempt only)
Background Checks
- 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start, updated annually
- EPLS/GSA/SAM check upon hire
- HHS/OIG check upon hire
- Education Verification (official transcript acceptable; diploma not accepted)
- Fingerprinting (PA Department of Human Services fingerprinting required for PA placements, valid within 5 years)
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse Search (required within 12 months of start)
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical Exam (physician statement within 2 months of start)
- Fit Mask Test (within 12 months of start; must be completed prior to start; 3M 1870+ model required)
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (current vaccine or titer required)
- Negative TB test (Qgold or TSPOT within 90 days of start; chest X-ray if positive)
- TB Questionnaire (required annually)
- Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella: 2 vaccines or positive titer required (exempt if born before 1957)
- Hepatitis B: Series, titer, or declination accepted
- Varicella: 2 vaccines or positive titer required
- Drug Testing: 10-panel drug screen within 60 days prior to start (9-panel without THC acceptable)
- Seasonal Flu Vaccination or Medical/Religious Exemption required during flu season (10/1/2025 - 4/1/2026)
- COVID-19 Vaccine: No longer required prior to start; medical/religious exemptions accepted with masking requirements; booster preferred but not required

- 2 Professional References within 2 years of start
- Skills Checklist updated annually (as applicable)
- Work History Verification (specific to NJ candidates)
- Facility-specific modules assigned and must be completed prior to orientation (not required for this facility)
- Photo for badge required ASAP
Additional Notes
- Candidates must pass a basic dysrhythmia exam during orientation; failure results in contract cancellation.
- Fit testing is not available onsite and must be completed before starting.
- Candidates with medical/religious exemptions for COVID-19 vaccination must wear appropriate masks while at work.
- Fingerprinting results must be on file prior to start; facility will not allow starting with pending results.
- Background checks and verifications are comprehensive and must be current and complete before starting.
