Certified Surgical Technician - Dover, New Hampshire

Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts (06:45 AM - 5:15 PM) with a rotating day off
Location Requirement: Must live more than 50 miles from Dover, NH


Required Credentials & Certifications

  • NH Medical Technician License (required for onboarding)
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) (NBSTSA or NCCT certification preferred)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted; AHA preferred)
  • Fit Test for N95 Respirator (within 365 days of start date, updated annually; no religious exemptions)
  • Influenza Vaccine (required during flu season, Sept 15 - April 30; no exemptions)
  • MMR Vaccination or Immunity Proof (two doses each of measles, mumps, rubella or two MMR vaccines, or blood test proof)
  • Tuberculosis (TB) Test (skin test or blood test within 3 months of start date, updated if >6 month break)
  • Health Statement (physician-signed within 365 days of start date, updated if >6 month break)
  • Respirator Medical Clearance (RMC) Attestation (part of fit test record, required if fit test needed)

Preferred / Optional Credentials

  • Hepatitis B Vaccination or Immunity (strongly preferred)
  • Tdap Vaccine (within 10 years, preferred)
  • Positive PPD with Negative Chest X-Ray (if applicable)
  • MGB TB Symptom Survey (if positive PPD, optional)

  • Criminal Background Check (within 45 days prior to start, updated if >6 month break; includes international searches)
  • National Sex Offender Registry Check (within 30 days of start, updated annually)
  • Exclusion Checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth & NH Medicaid lists; within 30 days of start and annually)
  • New Hampshire State Checks (NH Criminal Background and BEAS record checks within 30 days prior to start)
  • Education Verification (highest level of education verified through background check)
  • Social Security Number Trace (past 7 years addresses/employment/school)
  • Resume (past 7 years of work experience with city & state)
  • References (2 recent, minimum 1 supervisor or above in skillset)
  • Skills Checklist (required for submission)
  • Candidate Submission Coversheet (required for submission)
  • Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form (required for onboarding and assignment extensions)
