Location: McMinnville, Oregon
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Facility Overview

• 60-bed acute-care, full-service facility
• Accredited by The Joint Commission
• Accredited Chest Pain Center by ACC Accreditation Services
• 24-hour Emergency Department

Position Details

• Specialty: CT and X-Ray Technologist
• Shift: Nights
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Weekend Hours: 12 hours (including Sunday night)
• Call Requirements: None required, but available
• Number of Openings: 1
• Patient Population: All populations, minimal pediatric work
• Typical Volume:

  • 5-6 CT scans per night
  • 8-10 X-rays per night
  • Volume manageable for one tech; call support available if needed
• Equipment:

  • GE VCT main CT scanner
  • Discovery RT backup scanner
  • GE Difinium collapsible column portables
  • GE XR646 digital X-ray rooms
• EHR Systems: Meditech & Change Healthcare (McKesson PACS)

Requirements

• Certifications:

  • CT and X-Ray License
  • OBMI State License
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in CT/X-Ray specialty (highest required)
• Skills:

  • Ability to perform both CT and X-Ray exams independently
  • Preferred: Surgery C-Arm and Fluoroscopy experience
• Personality Fit: Task-oriented, team player, good communication skills for night shift environment

Additional Information

• Position works alongside a night ultrasound tech
• Some order prep tasks during slower times
• Supportive team environment with available assistance for questions
• Dress code: Any solid color scrubs; light blue scrub set provided and laundered
• Unacceptable attire: Open-toed shoes, shorts, etc.

Notes

• Orientation is weekly on Mondays
• Travel assignment (candidates must be 60 miles or greater from facility to qualify as travel)
