Description
CT Tech Position - Colorado, Brighton
Job Summary
- Perform general CAT scans of chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, fluoroscopy, and pediatric exams.
- Complete post-processing in a timely manner.
- Perform CT angiographies (CTAs) with post-processing.
- Scan trauma patients efficiently and promptly.
- Handle medications during distribution or administration as required.
- Access secured drug storage areas when necessary.
- Minimize radiation exposure to patients, self, and staff.
- Maintain high quality and image production standards.
- Provide leadership in coordinating radiology care across various settings.
Contract Length
- Approximately 13 weeks (91 days converted to weeks).
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Tech.
- Demonstrated reliability and effective communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, independent judgment, and decision-making abilities.
- Contribute to departmental planning and process improvement.
- Participate in departmental and modality meetings.
- Assist in orientation and training of new associates and students.
Radiation Badge Requirement
- A personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) is required.
- Providers are encouraged to use an existing badge from a previous assignment if available.
- New badges will not reflect prior exposure history.
