Job Opportunity: Radiology Technician (Travel)
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Job Description
- Work in a Level 1 Trauma center for both adult and pediatric patients
- Experience with imaging equipment including GE, Carestream, Phillips, OEC, and O-arm
Required Credentials & Compliance
Licenses & Certifications
- Valid permanent professional license (no temporary licenses accepted)
- ARRT certification required
Health & Immunizations
- COVID-19 vaccine proof preferred but not required
- Positive MMR titers within last 15 years; booster protocol if low titer
- Fit test completed within 1 year (specific approved masks/models)
- Hepatitis B: proof of full series, partial series, or signed declination (agency form accepted)
- Varicella titers within last 15 years; booster protocol if low titer
- Tdap vaccination within last 10 years (no declinations accepted)
- Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Oct-Mar) or UH-specific declination/medical exemption forms required
- 2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) test within last 6 months; if positive, clear chest x-ray and current TB questionnaire required
- Physical exam within 1 year prior to start confirming ability to work without restrictions
Background & Verification
- Ohio fingerprinting and criminal background checks based on residency duration (5+ years or less)
- Social Security trace and background checks within 6 months prior to start
- Employment verification for last 5 years through third-party verification
- Education verification through third-party; international education requires equivalency documentation
- UHS I-9 attestation confirming eligibility to work
- Drug screen within 60 days prior to start (10-panel, lab report required; no instant tests)
- UHS OIG, SAM/EPLS/GSA/OFAC checks within 6 months prior to start
- Competency exams and core competencies (HIPAA, OSHA, Joint Commission) with minimum 80% score, completed within 1 year prior to start
- Skills checklist and submission packet including resume, references, and job application
Additional Requirements
- UHS badge photo (headshot, shoulders up, plain background, JPEG)
- Completion of UHS safety and compliance training modules prior to clearance (annual renewal)
