Job Opportunity: RN - Central Resource Pool (Med Surg/Tele)

Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation). The role involves collaboration with inter-professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The RN practices within the full scope of nursing expertise and adheres to age- and population-specific standards in the assigned clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients across all phases: preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
• Plan and coordinate care, conduct patient assessments, provide patient education, triage, and perform various nursing interventions.
• Function within the scope and standards of nursing practice as outlined by the Nurse Practice Act and state licensure rules.
• Adhere to the American Nurses Association’s Scope and Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics for Nurses.
• Badge in and out at the facility.

Work Schedule

• Straight nights
• Every other weekend and holiday

Requirements

• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
• Scrubs: Navy Blue
• Prior work with the facility requires a minimum 6-month gap since last assignment

Additional Information

• 80-mile local placements
• No explicit mention of required years of specialty experience or prior travel experience
