Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Technician (Travel)

Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours
• On Call Requirement: 15 days per month
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Easter
• Required Credentials: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - Must be AHA certified
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - Must be AHA certified

Credential and Compliance Requirements

  • Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination

  • Tdap vaccine valid within 10 years, no declinations accepted
  • TB testing: Positive IGRA or PPD results, negative chest X-ray within one year, and annual TB questionnaire
  • Fit Test for respiratory protection, updated annually
• Health Statement or physical exam prior to assignment and updated annually
• Drug Screening: 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
• Background and Verification Checks:

  • Criminal background check including SSN trace, employment verification, OIG search, and national sex offender registry within 30 days prior to start
  • Employment and education verifications within 90 days prior to start
  • Professional references (at least two) required prior to first assignment
• Skills Checklist: Clinical skills checklist to be completed within one year of start and updated annually

Additional Notes

• Driver’s license or state ID must be current and valid
• Various facility-specific onboarding forms and attestations required
• Compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA topics, and facility core competencies required
