Description

Radiology Technologist - Fargo, North Dakota

Contract Length

  • 13 weeks

Required Certifications and Licensure

  • Active BLS (AHA) certification
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
  • North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDMRT) licensure required or willingness to apply within 48 hours of offer acceptance

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years recent radiology technologist experience (highest required)
  • Experience with portables and Emergency Room (ER) or experience with C-arm
  • Fluoroscopy experience required
  • Must be able to perform fluoroscopy and surgery procedures

Job Duties and Procedures

  • Perform fluoroscopy, endoscopy, operating room (OR), general exams, and portable imaging
  • Scan approximately 40-60 patients per day
  • Work in a fast-paced hospital environment

Equipment Used

  • EPIC system
  • Philips rooms with Carestream DRX interface
  • Siemens Agile Max fluoroscopy room
  • OEC C-arms
  • Siemens portable units

Shift and Schedule

  • 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each
  • Varying afternoon/evening shifts with occasional day shifts, Monday through Friday
  • Possible occasional call shifts
  • Mix of 2-3 shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM and the rest from 9:30 AM to 6 PM or 10 AM to 6:30 PM depending on weekly needs

Additional Information

  • Radiation badge supplied by agency/traveler
  • Blue scrubs provided
  • Must badge in and out at the facility
  • Important licensing note: Applicants must send fingerprints and paperwork to the NDMIRT Board licensing office (not ND BCI) to avoid delays in licensure processing
