Description
Radiology Technologist - Fargo, North Dakota
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Required Certifications and Licensure
- Active BLS (AHA) certification
- Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
- North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Board (NDMRT) licensure required or willingness to apply within 48 hours of offer acceptance
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years recent radiology technologist experience (highest required)
- Experience with portables and Emergency Room (ER) or experience with C-arm
- Fluoroscopy experience required
- Must be able to perform fluoroscopy and surgery procedures
Job Duties and Procedures
- Perform fluoroscopy, endoscopy, operating room (OR), general exams, and portable imaging
- Scan approximately 40-60 patients per day
- Work in a fast-paced hospital environment
Equipment Used
- EPIC system
- Philips rooms with Carestream DRX interface
- Siemens Agile Max fluoroscopy room
- OEC C-arms
- Siemens portable units
Shift and Schedule
- 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each
- Varying afternoon/evening shifts with occasional day shifts, Monday through Friday
- Possible occasional call shifts
- Mix of 2-3 shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM and the rest from 9:30 AM to 6 PM or 10 AM to 6:30 PM depending on weekly needs
Additional Information
- Radiation badge supplied by agency/traveler
- Blue scrubs provided
- Must badge in and out at the facility
- Important licensing note: Applicants must send fingerprints and paperwork to the NDMIRT Board licensing office (not ND BCI) to avoid delays in licensure processing
