Job Opportunity: Outpatient Orthopedic Therapist (Travel/Contract)

Job Details

• Start Date: ASAP (May 19th preferred)
• Shift: 4x10 hour days per week

  • 2 days: 7am - 5pm
  • 2 days: 7am - 6pm
• Patient Care: 60-minute one-on-one sessions, no overlapping patients
• Work Environment: Each therapist has their own treatment room
• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
• Locals Accepted: Yes, but at a lower rate
• First Time Travelers: Not accepted
• License: Wisconsin Physical Therapist License preferred (pending license accepted)
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Additional Requirements:

  • Background check (7-year history including SS trace, county searches, nationwide sex offender check)
  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • Negative QGold TB test within 1 year (Chest X-Ray within 60 days if applicable)
  • Immunizations: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella (positive titer or 2 vaccines)
  • Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 14 days before start
  • Flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct-Mar)
  • 2 professional references verified within 2 years of start
  • Annual skills checklist and competency exams as applicable

• Candidates must complete facility-specific compliance and confidentiality documents prior to start.
• Photo for badge required (passport-style, no filters).
• Some certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP may be required depending on specialty but not mandatory for this role.
• Color blindness testing required only if working in dialysis/kidney center (not applicable here).
• Flu vaccine exemptions require completion of specific facility forms.
