Registered Respiratory Therapist - Travel Position

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Provide evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies.
  • Assess patients for appropriate treatment types and frequencies; develop and implement care plans based on diagnosis.
  • Monitor patient condition and respiratory equipment.
  • Perform advanced respiratory care modalities.
  • Evaluate respiratory practices, medication administration, and treatment outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families about health conditions and community support resources.
  • Respond to emergency resuscitation team codes.

  • Drug screening: 12-panel drug screen within 30 days prior to start, updated annually
  • Statement of good health or physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually
  • Driver’s License/State ID (must be current and valid)

Onboarding and Verification Requirements

  • At least two professional references prior to first assignment
  • Criminal background check including Social Security Trace, Employment Verification, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and others within 30 days of assignment start
  • Employment verification for the past seven years
  • Education verification relevant to clinical work within 90 days of start
  • Skills checklist completed within one year of start, updated annually
  • Confirmation of assignment documentation on agency letterhead with start and end dates
