Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Travel Position
Location: Gainesville, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Facility Overview
- 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital
- Specializes in treatment and recovery for patients with severe injury or illness
- Focus on stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs
Position Details
- Department: Therapy
- Role: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Specialty: Neuro or Inpatient Rehab preferred

- Shift: Day with weekend rotation
- Weekly Hours: 40 (including 8 weekend hours)
- Call Requirements: None
- Required Certifications: Georgia state license
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
- Float Requirements: None
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 40
- Patient Ratios: 4-6 patients per clinician
- Equipment Used: Bioness Vector, Senaptec, Neuro VR, Lite Gait, Standing Frame, Tilt Table, Car Simulator, Chattanooga Tower, NuStep, Omnicycle
- Electronic Health Record (EHR): EPIC (read-only), UDS Pro Doc Rehab Connect
- Patient Population: Adult, geriatric, neuro, ortho, debility, amputee, critical illness
Required Skills and Experience
- Evaluation and treatment of neurological, orthopedic, and geriatric populations
- Preferred experience with neuro and inpatient rehab settings
- Familiarity with GG Quality Indicators
- Common diagnoses treated: CVA (stroke), hip fracture, debility
Education
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
