CT Tech Travel Opportunity

Location: Council Bluffs, Iowa
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Position involves working as a Radiology Tech with CT experience in a travel assignment.
• Start date: Late August.
• Facility has 1 CT scanner, 2 X-ray rooms, and 1 portable X-ray.
• No floating or covering other areas required.
• Imaging/studies performed include ER, floors, portables, and transportation.
• Average scans/studies per day: 5-10 (morning and overnight portables).
• Shifts: 9 PM - 7 AM or 7 AM - 7 PM; 10 or 12-hour shifts.
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend, preference for weekend availability.
• Holiday work is optional.
• No call or standby requirement.
• Dress code: Black scrubs (provided).
• Orientation: 1 week daytime orientation plus 3 night shifts (Wed-Fri, 6:30 PM - 7 AM).

Requirements

• Certifications: ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), BLS required.
• Experience: Must have CT experience; preference given to candidates with prior travel experience.
• Skills: Familiarity with Cerner EMR, Philips PACS, Siemens CT equipment.
• IV starts required; assistance available from House supervisor and ER for difficult sticks.
• Radiologist available during the day; night shift tech is the only person on site but can call supervisor for assistance.

Additional Notes

• Department uses telemedicine overnight.
• This is a travel-friendly facility.
• Prior travel experience is preferred but not explicitly required.
