Job Opportunity: CVOR OR RN - New Jersey

Position Overview

• Role: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse
• Required to scrub Endovascular cases (specific skill set needed)
• Shift: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• On-call: 2 shifts per six-week schedule; weekends as needed
• Holiday coverage: Every other holiday; if off on a holiday, must work the day before or after, including an evening and a day shift. Must also work a winter hallmark and spring hallmark holiday.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of Level 1 trauma experience
• Scrub and circulate experience in the OR
• Active New Jersey RN license required
• BSN degree preferred
• Certifications required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• Fully COVID vaccinated with at least 1 booster
• Excellent attention to detail for patient safety and quality monitoring
• Strong organizational skills for coordinating care across the OR
• Flexibility required: no consecutive days or weeks off; must accommodate department needs

Additional Credentials and Compliance

• ACLS certification
• Background check and drug screening
• Educational and license verification
• Various health screenings and vaccinations (Hep B, Influenza, MMR, TdaP, Varicella)
• Competency exams and skills checklist
• Compliance with agency credentialing and mandatory training requirements
