CT/Xray Tech Opportunity

Location: Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin

Position Details

• Specialty: CT/Xray Tech
• Contract Length: 26 weeks (approximately 6 months)
• Department: CT / Xray Tech
• Shifts:

  • 7 days on, 7 days off schedule
  • Monday to Friday: 8:45 PM – 6:00 AM
  • Saturday to Sunday: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Weekend and Holiday Requirements: Yes, dependent on schedule
• Call or Standby: No

Required Certifications and Licenses

• ARRT Certified CT Technologist (CT)
• ARRT Certified Radiologic Technologist (R)
• BLS (AHA)
• Wisconsin State License

Experience and Skills

• Proficient in CT and general radiologic skills
• Must enjoy working independently
• Excellent patient care skills
• IV start required
• Prior travel experience: Not specified (assumed not required)

Work Environment and Equipment

• 1 CT Scanner and 1 Xray Scanner in the department
• Coverage includes hospital ER and outpatient CT; ER x-ray only; no surgery
• May need to float/cover other areas; one general radiology tech covers Mon-Fri day shifts, PM and night shifts work solo
• EMR system: Cerner
• PACS system: Spectra
• Equipment brand: Siemens
• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) on staff
• No in-house radiologist; studies read remotely

• Scrub dress code: Any solid color, clean and professional; scrubs not provided
• Department-specific orientation varies based on skills
• Clinicians must clock in and out at the facility
• Candidates living within 80 miles may have adjusted pay rates (not included here)
• Previous employment with the facility requires a minimum 6-month gap before reapplying
