Radiology Technician (LTA) - Salem, Massachusetts

Position Overview

• Specialty: Radiology Technician
• Location: Salem, Massachusetts
• Shift: Tuesday - Friday, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including 1 weekend per month
• Unit: Diagnostic Radiology (includes ED, OR, Inpatient, Outpatient)
• Patient Population: Diverse
• Bed Count: 358
• EMR Systems: Epic, Visage
• Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Years of Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of recent radiology experience, including portable and OR C-arm procedures
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required
• Certifications Required:

  • ARRT (R) certification
  • Valid Massachusetts Department of Public Health Radiologic Technologist License (MA Conditional Licenses not accepted)

Key Skills

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures
• Experience with general, portable, and intraoperative C-arm imaging

Health & Compliance Requirements

• N95 Fit Test (within 365 days of start date, updated annually)
• Documentation of MMR immunity (vaccines or blood test)
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30)
• TB test documentation within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
• Physician health statement within 365 days of start date
• Criminal background checks including Massachusetts CORI and national sex offender registry
• Respirator Medical Clearance attestation (if fit test required)
• Hepatitis B vaccine or immunity strongly preferred
• Tdap vaccine preferred (within 10 years)

• Two recent references (minimum one supervisor or above)

Additional Notes

• Background checks and license verifications must be current and updated as required
• No religious or medical exemptions accepted for flu vaccine or fit testing
• Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start date
