Travel RN Step Down Nurse - Cleveland, Ohio

Position Overview

  • Provide safe, efficient, age-specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process.
  • Deliver relationship-based nursing care with technical skills to ensure safe practice and positive outcomes.
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
  • Display leadership to influence optimal clinical and operational outcomes.
  • Floating requirement across multiple inpatient areas including Step Down Unit (SDU), Medical Care Unit (MCU), West Medical, West Surgical, Emergency Department (ED), and other specified units.
  • Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5 or 1:6.
  • RN duties as assigned.

Required Certifications and Licenses

  • BLS (American Heart Association only)
  • ACLS (American Heart Association only)
  • NIHSS certification
  • Valid permanent RN license (no temporary licenses accepted)
