Travel Nurse Opportunity – Medical Surgical Unit

Location: Winslow, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Nights (3 shifts of 12 hours each)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Schedule: At least 2 weekends per month (may vary)

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in Med Surg nursing
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS required
• Preferred Experience:

  • Pediatrics experience strongly preferred but not required
  • Experience in a small rural facility helpful
  • Experience with Cerner electronic health records preferred
  • Wide scope of experience with various diagnoses
• Additional Notes:

  • Must be willing to take COVID rule outs
  • Patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on acuity

Housing

• Hospital-provided housing available in a nearby modular home
• No pets or significant others allowed in housing

Summary

This is a 13-week travel nurse assignment on the night shift in a small rural hospital’s Medical Surgical unit. The role requires at least 2 years of Med Surg experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and a flexible approach to patient acuity and COVID protocols. Pediatric experience and Cerner EHR familiarity are preferred but not mandatory.
