Job Overview

- Care for patients with advanced heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, and complex cardiac conditions (e.g., electrolyte imbalanced dysrhythmias, tachy-brady syndromes).
- Patients awaiting heart transplants and those with implantable devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators, or Ventricular Assistive Devices (VAD).
- Care includes pre and post cardiac catheterization, ablation, and chemical cardioversion using Tikosyn.
- Also serves as a backup location for hospitalist services, providing a broader medical-surgical nursing experience.
Experience Requirements

- Physical/Health Statement – Pre-employment physical exam within 1 year, stating ability to work without restrictions
Background & Verification Requirements
- Criminal Background Check – Within 6 months, including Social Security Trace, County searches, National Sex Offender check
- Ohio Fingerprints – Required (BCI&I check and FBI fingerprint check depending on residency duration)
- Education Verification – Highest level verified through third-party; international education requires equivalency

- OIG Search – To be completed within 6 months prior to start
