    Travel RN Opportunity - Behavioral Health

    Location: Englewood, Colorado
    Specialty: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN)

    Position Details

    • Shift: Night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
    • Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed (includes weekend hours)
    • Call Requirements: On-call/text when shifts open or someone calls off
    • Number of Openings: 1
    • Float Requirements: Must be able to float to all 4 units if necessary

    Facility & Unit Information

    • Facility Type: Acute stabilization behavioral health hospital
    • Number of Beds: 96 beds across 4 units (20-26 patients per unit)
    • Patient Population:
      • Adolescents (13-17 years old)
      • Adults (18+ years old)
    • Patient Ratios:
      • 1:12 on Adolescent, Adult Mental Wellness, and Adult Acute units
      • 1:10 on Adult Dual Diagnosis/Substance Use Disorder (SUD) unit
    • Average Length of Stay: 7-10 days
    • EHR System: HCS

    Required Qualifications

    • Licensure: Valid RN license
    • Experience: Minimum 2 years in Behavioral Health nursing
    • Skills:
      • De-escalation skills required
      • Preferred experience with behavioral health, medical or dual diagnosis patients
      • Ability to perform CIWA (Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment) and COWS (Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale) assessments
