Job Opportunity: CT Technologist

Location: Albany, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Summary

• Work in the CT Department scanning ER and inpatient cases using Phillips 64 Brilliance scanner.
• Fast-paced, engaging environment.
• Must be fully trained in CT, EMR Epic, and PACS Synapse systems.

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: CT Technologist
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
• Certifications/Licenses:

  • ARRT certification
  • New York State license with injection certification
  • BLS (American Heart Association Basic Life Support) certification

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• No holiday or weekend requirements

Required Immunizations and Health Screenings

• COVID-19 vaccine (including booster by Sept 2025) or approved exemption
• MMR (proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer)
• Fit Test (specific mask requirements)
• Hepatitis B vaccination series (proof of vaccination required; titers not accepted)
• Influenza vaccine or approved exemption (valid for flu season 10/1/2024 - 4/30/2025 and 10/1/2025 - 4/30/2026)
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with chest x-ray if positive TB as per regional requirements
• Varicella vaccination or IgG titer
• Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work (exam within last year)
• Drug Screen: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)

Professional and Compliance Requirements

• Resume and skills checklist within the past year
• Two professional references
• Signed confidentiality, conflict of interest, code of conduct, and integrity forms
• Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years) including SSN verification
• Education verification (highest academic degree or diploma/GED)
• EPLS and GSA/OIG exclusion checks within past 30 days
• Joint Commission CORE exam within the past year
• NSO check within 30 days (including aliases and statewide checks where applicable)
• System access form completed and uploaded one week before start
• License/certification verification dated within 30 days of start
• Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the past year

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
