Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Position
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
- Position is a travel/contract role for a Registered Nurse.

Experience Requirements

- 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start, including SS trace, counties lived/worked, nationwide check, sex offender registry, and MVR if driving is required.
- FBI and BCI fingerprinting required within 1 year of start using specific code (3701.881). New fingerprinting required if break in service >90 days or results older than 1 year.
- Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG monitoring.
- Education accreditation confirmation required for nursing degree from accredited programs (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA, CASN).
- Pending background check attestation required if fingerprint results are pending at start.
- Confidential Fraud Waste Abuse and Compliance Reporting Mechanism form required.
- Fraud, Waste, and Abuse Training Certificate required prior to start and updated annually.
- Dress code and hand hygiene policy acknowledgment required.
- Ethics and compliance policies must be reviewed and signed annually for new contracts.
Health Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start confirming good health and free of contagious disease.
- Immunizations/vaccinations required:
- Tdap (adult dose after age 11/12)
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 1 year (or TB questionnaire in lieu of annual test)
- MMR (2 doses or positive titer for Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella)
- Hepatitis B titer or 3-vaccine series (declination acceptable)
- Varicella (2 doses or positive titer; medical exemption allowed with documentation)
- Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season (10/1 - 3/31); mask required if declining.
- Negative 10-panel drug screen within 3 months of start (no pending drug screens allowed).
