Description
Job Opportunity: OT - Inpatient
Location: Bemidji, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Requirements
- Active Minnesota Occupational Therapy license
- Active BLS (AHA) certification
- Minimum 1 year recent inpatient hospital experience (acute care setting preferred; experience within past 3 years)
- Willingness to float to Outpatient if needed
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required
Job Details
- Evaluation and treatment of a variety of adult patient diagnoses in an acute hospital setting, including:
- General deconditioning
- Total joint replacement
- Post-op orthopedic cases
- Some neurological diagnoses
- General medical-surgical cases
- Use of EPIC electronic medical record system
- Typical caseload: approximately 30-40 patients
- Shift: Monday to Friday, day shift only; no call or weekends; will not work alone
- Floating: Preference for willingness to cross-train to Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) for intermittent coverage, but not required
Orientation & Dress Code
- Computer-based orientation for organization
- One-on-one EPIC and department orientation
- Dress code: Charcoal grey scrubs or business casual (Polo colors: Ceil Blue, Khaki, Gray, Chocolate Brown)
Additional Notes
- Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
- Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility may have adjusted rates (not included here)
- If previously employed by this health system, must have ended employment at least 6 months prior to submission
