Unit Profile

• Department: Behavioral Health Unit (3rd Floor)
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift: 12-hour
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every-other weekend rotation
• Call Requirements: None required
• Float Requirements: Yes, RN may be floated to other departments
• Patient Population: Adult
• Number of Beds: 16
• Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 4 patients
• EHR System: Med Host
• Equipment: Vitals Machine, EMAR, Omnicell

Required Qualifications

• Licenses/Certifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required
  • Handle with Care preferred
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (CPI) preferred
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of inpatient Behavioral Health experience (required)
• Additional Certifications: ACLS and PALS required but can be obtained within 60 and 90 days respectively after start date
