Travel RN Opportunity - ICU/CVICU (Blended ICU)

Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Blended ICU
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Call Requirements: Yes
Number of Openings: 1
Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric
Unit: ICU/CVICU (16 beds)
Patient Ratio: 1:2
Float Requirements: Intermediate Care Unit (primary RN) and ED holding (as needed)
Equipment: Baxter pumps
EHR System: Medhost
Trauma Level: III

Required Certifications & Licenses

BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
NIH Certification
Registered Nurse License

Experience Requirements

Years of Experience in Specialty: 2 years (higher value confirmed)
Prior Travel Experience: Required

Attendance Policy: One call-out allowed per contract; second call-out requires documentation and review
Orientation: Weekly
No block schedule requests; 48-hour shifts can be considered but not guaranteed
Local attractions include outdoor recreation (fishing, golfing, swimming, hiking) and local dining options
Close proximity to major cities: Las Vegas, Phoenix, Grand Canyon, Los Angeles, San Diego

This position is ideal for experienced ICU RNs with prior travel experience looking for a blended ICU role in a community hospital setting with a Level III trauma center.
