Job Opportunity: RN Emergency Room

Location: Fort Madison, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 8 weeks (approximately 2 months)

Job Description

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department.
  • Responsible for assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating patient needs and priorities.
  • Must be able to triage patients safely, rapidly, and accurately.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Upon acceptance, traveler must self-study telemetry strips and pass a basic dysrhythmia test during the first week to continue working in the Emergency Department.

  • Health Statement (physician statement within last 12 months)
  • Drug Screen (10 panel within 30 days of start)
  • Background Check (including SS trace, county searches, nationwide sex offender check) within 30 days of start
  • Adult and Child Abuse clearance (state requirement)
  • Education Verification (third-party verification required)
  • Professional References (2 required, including 1 supervisor)
