Occupational Therapist (OT) - Travel Position
Location: Gainesville, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking an Occupational Therapist with Neuro or Inpatient Rehab experience for a travel assignment.
Requirements
- Specialty: Neuro or Inpatient Rehab preferred
- Years of Experience: 2 years (highest requirement noted)
- Prior Travel Experience: Not required
- Certifications: Valid Occupational Therapy license in Georgia
- Education: Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
Work Details
- Shift: Day with weekend rotation
- Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
- Weekend Hours: 8 hours
- Call: None
- Float Requirements: None
Unit Information
- Facility Type: Free-standing rehabilitation facility, 2-story
- Number of Beds: 40
- Patient Ratios: 4-6 patients per therapist
- Patient Population: Adult, geriatric, neuro, ortho, debility, amputee, critical illness
- Common Diagnoses: CVA (stroke), hip fracture, debility
- Equipment Used: Bioness Vector, Senaptec, Neuro VR, Lite Gait, Standing Frame, Tilt Table, Car Simulator, Chattanooga Tower, NuStep, Omnicycle
- EHR System: EPIC (read only), UDS Pro Doc Rehab Connect
Skills & Experience
- Must have skills in evaluation and treatment of neuro, ortho, and geriatric populations
- Preferred experience with Neuro, inpatient rehab, and GG Quality Indicators
- Personality fit: Down to earth, enjoys engaging with treatments and coworkers, good sense of humor
