Description
Job Opportunity: Cardiovascular/Interventional Technician
Location: Lansing, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
The Cardiovascular/Interventional Laboratory provides services including:
- Cardiac catheterization
- Angiography
- Peripheral angioplasty with or without stent placement
- Venography
- Cardiac pacemaker insertions
- Various non-vascular interventional procedures
- Both inpatient and one-day outpatient services
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of catheterization (Cath) experience required
- Preferred Experience: Cardiac experience and Interventional Radiology (IR) experience preferred
- Certifications:
- ARRT (will accept RCIS) – required
- ACLS
- BLS
- RCIS
Additional Information
- Facility uses Cerner EMR system
- Tertiary teaching hospital with 310 acute care beds
- Offers cardiac programs and specialized clinical centers for oncology, women’s and children’s health, medical/surgical units, and a full-service pharmacy
Note: There is no indication that prior travel experience is required for this position.
