Job Details

- Certifications Required:
- ARRT (R) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted (prior travel experience NOT required)
- Electronic Medical Records: Cerner / Centricity IDX Rad charting
- Dress Code: Charcoal Gray/Ceil Blue scrubs
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Identification: Unexpired government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License/State ID)
- Employment Eligibility: I9 form, E-Verify
- Background Checks:
- 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start, updated annually
- Sex offender registry, FACIS Level 1M, education verification
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks upon hire
- Pennsylvania-specific: PA Statewide Child Abuse Search and PA Department of Human Services Fingerprinting (within 12 months of start)
- Education Verification: Highest level verified; official transcript acceptable (diploma not accepted)
- References: 2 professional references within 2 years
- Work History Verification: Required (specific NJ state rules apply, but relevant for PA as well)
Certifications & Competencies
- Mandatory Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- NIH Stroke Certification (Relias or CEdirect accepted)
- Competency Exams: Medication test/pharmacology and other competency exams as applicable
- Orientation Requirements:
- Signed safety manual acknowledgment (updated annually)
- Pass/Fail Basic Dysrhythmia Exam during orientation (one attempt only)
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical Exam: Physician statement within 2 months of start
- Fit Mask Test: Fit test within 12 months prior to start (3M 1870+ model required)
- Vaccinations & Titers:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (current)
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (2 vaccines or positive titer; exemptions apply for candidates born before 1957)
- Hepatitis B (series, titer, or declination accepted)
- Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer)
- Seasonal Flu Vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption (required during flu season)
- TB Testing: Qgold or TSPOT within 90 days of start (PPD not accepted); chest X-ray if positive test
- Drug Testing: 10-panel drug screen within 60 days prior to start (9-panel without THC acceptable)
- COVID-19 Vaccine: No longer required prior to start; medical/religious exemptions accepted with masking requirements
Additional Notes
- Modules assigned by education department must be completed prior to orientation (except for this facility)
- Photo required for badge issuance ASAP
- Pass/fail dysrhythmia exam failure results in contract cancellation
- Facility does not provide on-site fit testing; must be completed prior to start
- Candidates with medical/religious COVID exemptions must wear N95, K95, or double mask with surgical mask while at work
This position offers a travel contract opportunity in Radiology/Cardiology with a 13-week assignment in Philadelphia, PA.
