Location: Winchester, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel Contract

Position Details

• Specialty: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)
• Years of Experience Required: 2+ years (Med Surg experience required)
• Shift: See shift details (includes weekend hours)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
• Weekend Hours: 24 hours
• Call Requirements: As needed; must be able to arrive within 30 minutes to 1 hour if called in
• Float Requirements: As needed
• Patient Population: All ages
• Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 6 patients
• Number of Openings: 1
• Number of Beds on Unit: 44
• EHR System: Meditech

Required Certifications and Licensure

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• HWC (Healthcare Worker Certification)
• Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license to practice in Tennessee

Unit and Facility Overview

• Level II Trauma Center
• 44-bed Medical Surgical unit
• Facility includes ICU, Geriatric Psychiatry, Acute Inpatient Rehab, Skilled Nursing, Sleep Lab, Cardiac Cath Lab, OR Suites, Endoscopy Suites, and Emergency Rooms
• Serves a diverse patient population with a variety of diagnoses and treatments

Professional Expectations

• Must have Med Surg nursing experience
• Professional demeanor required
• Dress code: Scrubs of any color; no casual wear or hoodies

Additional Notes

• Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
• Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as travel staff
