Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) - Travel Position

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Position Details

Specialty: Radiologic Technologist (RT) - Imaging Tech
Focus Areas: Surgery and Arthrograms, Diagnostic X-Ray
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
Call Requirements:
- Weekend rotation and weeknights
- Call hours: 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM Monday-Friday
- 24/7 call coverage on weekends
Contract Length: Approximately 19 weeks (134 days ≈ 19 weeks)

Experience & Certifications

Required Years of Experience: 2 years (preferred)
Required Certifications:
- ISDH
- ARRT
- BLS
Must Have Skills/Experience:
- Experience with O-arm and C-arm equipment
- Enjoy working in surgery settings
Preferred Skillset: Surgery and Arthrograms

Unit Type: Short stay hospital unit
Number of Beds: 5 recovery beds supporting 5 OR suites (3 currently in use)
Equipment: OEC, AIRO CT
EMR System: EPIC
Patient Ratios: Not specified
Float Requirements: Potentially required

Work Environment & Culture

Personality Fit: Flexible, self-sufficient, compassionate
Dress Code: OR scrubs required

Orientation & Training

Hospital orientation is virtual on the first day
Onsite learning modules on the second day
EPIC training scheduled for the third or fourth day
