Description
Job Opportunity: Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) - Travel Position
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Position Details
- Specialty: Radiologic Technologist (RT) - Imaging Tech
- Focus Areas: Surgery and Arthrograms, Diagnostic X-Ray
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
- Call Requirements:
- Weekend rotation and weeknights
- Call hours: 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM Monday-Friday
- 24/7 call coverage on weekends
- Contract Length: Approximately 19 weeks (134 days ≈ 19 weeks)
Experience & Certifications
- Required Years of Experience: 2 years (preferred)
- Required Certifications:
- ISDH
- ARRT
- BLS
- Must Have Skills/Experience:
- Experience with O-arm and C-arm equipment
- Enjoy working in surgery settings
- Preferred Skillset: Surgery and Arthrograms
Unit Information
- Unit Type: Short stay hospital unit
- Number of Beds: 5 recovery beds supporting 5 OR suites (3 currently in use)
- Equipment: OEC, AIRO CT
- EMR System: EPIC
- Patient Ratios: Not specified
- Float Requirements: Potentially required
Work Environment & Culture
- Personality Fit: Flexible, self-sufficient, compassionate
- Dress Code: OR scrubs required
Orientation & Training
- Hospital orientation is virtual on the first day
- Onsite learning modules on the second day
- EPIC training scheduled for the third or fourth day
