Job Opportunity: CT Technologist (Travel/Contract)
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Job Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shifts: Five 8-hour shifts, 07:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Work Schedule: Holidays and weekends as needed
- Floating: Must be willing to float to different units within the organization as needed
Required Skills & Experience
- Specialty Experience: Radiology / Cardiology (CT Technologist)
- Minimum Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated; assume standard CT technologist experience required
- Equipment Experience: Siemens CT scanner experience is mandatory
- Procedure Experience: Extremities, Abdomen, Chest, Head/Neck, Spine, and other X-ray procedures
- General Skills: IV start, Contrast administration

Certifications Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- AART CT Certification
- State License (Ohio or compact license with additional documentation if from other states)
Background & Compliance Requirements
- 7-year criminal background check within 90 days of start, including FBI and BCI fingerprinting (Ohio-specific code 3701.881)
- Monthly EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG monitoring
- Education accreditation verification required immediately after contract signing
- Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug test within 3 months of start (no pending tests allowed)
- Physical exam within 1 year of start confirming good health and free of contagious disease
- Immunizations and health documents required:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (adult dose after age 11/12)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- TB questionnaire
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - 2 vaccines or positive titer
- Hepatitis B titer or 3-vaccine series (declination acceptable)
- Varicella - 2 vaccines or positive titer (medical exemption possible)
- Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season (10/1 - 3/31)
- COVID vaccination not required but strongly recommended
Additional Requirements
- Must complete unit-specific competency exams, including:
- Medication/Pharmacology competency exam (for RNs/LVNs)
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam for RNs (updated annually)
- Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (annual)
- Various facility-specific compliance forms and training, including fraud, waste, and abuse training (annual)
- References: Two professional references required, at least one from a manager or formal leadership

- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
