CT Tech Travel Opportunity - Washington (Lakewood)

Job Details

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Saturday to Monday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Call Requirement: On call every Wednesday from 11:30 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Yes (shifts include weekends)
• Holiday Requirement: No
• Orientation: 2 weeks (approx. 25+ hours, not guaranteed during first 2 weeks)

Experience & Certification Requirements

• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in CT
• Certifications:

  • Active BLS certification
  • ARRT (R) - Radiologic Technologist
  • ARRT (CT) - Certified CT Technologist
  • Washington State License (must have at time of submittal)
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required

Job Duties & Skills

• Perform inpatient, emergency department (ED), and outpatient CT exams
• IV placement skills required (dayshift may assist with IV starts; graveyard shift does not)
• Average scan volume: 1-2 scans per hour
• Use of EPIC and McKesson PACS systems
• Operate GE Optima 660 CT scanner
• Must provide own radiation badge

Work Environment

• Level 4 hospital
• Radiologist on-site 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, reachable by phone 24/7
• Dedicated transporter available Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Dress code: Any professional scrub color (scrubs not provided)

This position is ideal for a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, required certifications, and a Washington state license, looking for a travel contract with weekend shifts and on-call responsibilities.
