Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology (Travel/Contract)

Location: Jackson, Tennessee
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

• Shifts: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM
• Days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Required Qualifications

• Certification:

  • ARRT certification required
  • BLS required
  • CT registry preferred
• Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
  • Knowledge of basic CT scans, CTA scans, CT brain perfusions, trauma scans
  • Experience with PACS system and GE CT scanner required
• Additional Requirements:

  • Epic experience within the last 12 months is required and must be detailed on profile
• Locals and first-time travelers accepted at the same rate

Required Documentation & Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID required during hours of service
• Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated for every contract renewal/extension
• Diploma/transcript required for specialty
• Various certifications required depending on role (e.g., ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, NIH Stroke Certification)
• EPIC test out required for all candidates (one attempt only; failure results in contract cancellation)
• Physical exam within one year of start, attesting ability to meet physical demands
• N95 Fit Mask test within one year of start, updated annually; no PAPR allowed
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within one year of start; TB questionnaire updated annually
• Immunizations required:

  • Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella (2 MMR vaccines or positive titer with booster if low/equivocal)
  • Hepatitis B (titer or series with booster if low/equivocal)
  • Varicella (2 vaccines or positive titer with booster if low/equivocal)
• Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start (instant tests not accepted)
• Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (11/1 – 3/31); no declinations or exemptions accepted
• COVID vaccination series or approved declination/exemption required
• Proof of 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Complete employment application/resume required
• Skills checklist required as applicable to specialty

Summary

This is a 13-week travel contract position for a Radiology/Cardiology professional with at least 1 year of CT experience. Candidates must have ARRT and BLS certifications, with Epic experience within the last year. The role requires weekend 12-hour shifts and compliance with extensive documentation, background checks, certifications, immunizations, and testing protocols. Both local candidates and first-time travelers are welcome.
