Emergency Room Nurse - New Jersey (Mullica Hill)

Job Summary

Seeking an Emergency Room nurse with recent experience in a high-volume, fast-paced ED setting.

Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience.
• Prior travel experience required (must have completed at least one travel contract).

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.

Certifications / Licensure

• New Jersey Nursing License or Compact License.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
• Note: Pending certifications or those expiring within 30 days of submission are NOT accepted.

Work Schedule

• Weekend shifts: Every other weekend or 3 per month, depending on needs.
• No holiday shifts.
• Return to Office (RTO) requests: No more than 3 days accepted.
• No block scheduling or special requests allowed.

Orientation

• Completion of full orientation is mandatory; failure to complete results in immediate termination.
• Orientation includes virtual and in-person components:

  • Virtual Welcome meeting and online HealthStream modules on Monday.
  • In-person classes typically Tuesday through Thursday at various locations.
  • Unit-based orientation scheduled by manager.
  • Badge ID appointment required during orientation (photo submissions not accepted).

Additional Requirements

• Compliance with background checks, drug screening, immunizations (COVID-19, Hep B, Influenza, MMR, TdaP, Varicella), and other standard healthcare employment verifications and screenings.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks.
