Travel RN Opportunity - North Carolina (Clyde)

Position Details

Specialty: Cardiac RN (Progressive Care Unit)
Location: Clyde, NC (20 miles from Asheville)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: PM
Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: Yes

Unit Profile

Unit: Progressive Care (4th Floor)
Number of Beds: 22
Patient Ratios: 4:1
Patient Population: Adult cardiac patients including post cardiac cath lab, cardioversions, and cardiac observation
Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Cardiac conditions
Equipment: Telemetry
EHR System: Paragon

Required Qualifications

Licensure: Registered Nurse License (RN)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Experience: Minimum 2 years in cardiac specialty with step-down/ICU experience
Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (AND) minimum

Additional Information

Orientation is bi-weekly
Dress code: Navy scrubs; offensive tattoos and non-facility tops are not acceptable
