CT Technologist - Raleigh, North Carolina

Job Summary
- Perform procedures and tests using CT equipment to acquire and analyze diagnostic data.
- Verify patient identification, obtain patient history, and ensure patient safety.
- Obtain CT images per protocols, manipulate images, perform multi-planar and 3D reconstructions.
- Administer oral and IV contrast according to protocols, including establishing IV lines and verifying lab values.
- Manage image transfer and quality control using PACS, EMR, EPIC, and IMPAX systems.
- Maintain accurate charge and demographic information.
- Perform tasks timely, maintain workflow, assist with challenging procedures and research.
- Review patient charts and reports for correlation.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Precept new employees and students.
Required Skills & Experience
- Prior education, training, and experience sufficient to perform assigned tasks.
- Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science.
- Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiological Sciences.
- Advanced certification in CT required.
- Must become registered within one year of employment if registry eligible.
- Maintain registry status and continuing education annually.
- Maintain current competency in Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (HCP BLS).

- Advanced CT certification.
