Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (Endoscopy) - Ohio
Location: Warrensville Heights, Ohio

Job Description
- Position: Endoscopy Registered Nurse
- Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Responsibilities include Pre-Op, Endoscopy, Intra-Procedure, and Post-Op care.
- Must have at least 18 months of permanent Endoscopy experience.
- Must hold a permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license.
- Required certifications: BLS & ACLS.
- ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate testing will be completed during orientation; passing scores are required.
Required Experience
- Specialty: Registered Nurse in Endoscopy
- Minimum Years of Experience: 1.5 years (18 months) permanent Endoscopy experience
- Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required
Certifications & Licenses
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required for all candidates
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required
- Ohio RN License or Compact State License (must be current and in hand)
- Pass/Fail ECG & Medication testing during orientation
- Other certifications may be required depending on unit specifics (e.g., PALS, NRP, TNCC) but not explicitly required for this role
Compliance & Onboarding Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID) required and must be carried on assignment
- Background checks including FCRA compliant 7-year search, SSN trace, education verification, and fingerprinting (FBI and BCI) required prior to start and updated annually
- Fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing; facility will also conduct fingerprinting onsite
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, including Snellen eye exam (required for new candidates starting 4/11/2025 or later)
- Fit mask (N95) fit testing within 12 months of start and updated annually
- Immunizations and health documents required:
- Tdap (every 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccinations or positive titers
- Hepatitis B vaccination or titer
- Varicella vaccination or titer
- Seasonal flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption (required during flu season)
- Drug screening: Standard 10-panel drug screen within 12 months, updated annually
- Completion of facility-specific online training modules prior to start (must be done on a computer using Google Chrome)
- Pass/Fail testing for ECG and medication competency during orientation
- Annual competency exams and skills checklists required
Additional Requirements
- Employment application must include 3 years of prior work history, with at least 2 years in acute care and similar clinical area
- Two professional references from within the past year required (from manager, supervisor, charge nurse, or director)
- Annual acknowledgment of orientation safety manual and pass/fail testing required
- Compliance with facility-specific documentation and onboarding processes is mandatory
