Location: Henderson, North Carolina

  • Weekend Hours: 5-6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule
  • Call Requirements: No scheduled call; flexible down according to unit census and staff rotation
  • Float Requirements: Not required, but may float to task/secretary if needed
  • Number of Beds: 16
  • Patient Ratios: Per AWHONN guidelines
  • EHR System: GE Centricity/Paragon
  • Patient Population: Labor and Delivery

Required Certifications

  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Fetal Monitoring (must have taken intermediate once; current advanced acceptable)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • AWHONN certification

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery (higher value between 1+ and 2 years applied)

Additional Notes

  • No prior travel experience explicitly required
  • Facility is Joint Commission Accredited with a large and advanced ICU and PCU
  • Patient care follows AWHONN guidelines for ratios and treatment
