    Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Technologist

    Location: Oakland, California
    Employment Type: Travel/Contract
    Contract Length: 13 weeks


    Job Description

    • Work primarily in General and Vascular ultrasound labs.
    • Unit has a heavy focus on Vascular Ultrasound, with some OB ultrasound performed at a nearby site.
    • Schedule: Monday-Friday, weekends as needed.

    Required Certifications

    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
    • ARDMS AB (Abdominal)
    • ARDMS RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist)

    Experience Requirements

      • Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccination
      • Hepatitis B series or declination
      • Varicella immunity or vaccination
      • Seasonal flu vaccination during flu season (Nov-April) or signed declination
    • Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids due to CA law).

    Competency Exams

    • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable).
    • General Competency Exam with minimum passing score of 80% or Angoff score if higher.
    • Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam may be required for some units.

    • Candidates must review and sign various facility-specific documents prior to start, including:
