Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Travel Position

Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin

Job Details

• Shift: 7 days on / 7 days off (Wednesday - Tuesday)
• Start Dates: January 26, February 9, February 14
• Years of Experience Required: 2 years
• 1st Time Travelers: Not accepted
• Locals Accepted: Yes (within 50 miles, at a lower rate)

Requirements

Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – ARC or AHA acceptable
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – ARC or AHA acceptable
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – ARC or AHA acceptable
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) – as required
• NIH Stroke Certification – required for ICU, IMC/IMCU, inpatient, Med Surg, Step Down RN positions (renew annually)
• Tech Certification – as applicable based on specialty/licensure

Background Checks

• 7-year background check including SS trace, county searches for last 7 years, nationwide sex offender check
• State-specific caregiver screening for Wisconsin

Health & Immunization

• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Negative QGold TB test within 1 year (Chest X-Ray within 60 days if applicable)
• Immunizations or positive titers required for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (titer, series, or declination)
  • Varicella
• Negative 9-panel drug screen within 14 days of start
• Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (October to March)

Competencies

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
• Color Blind Testing (required for dialysis/kidney center roles)
• Competency Exam (as applicable to profession/specialty)

Documentation

• Photo for badge (passport-style, no filters)
• Compliance checklist and confidentiality statement to be completed prior to start
• Dosimeter request form required for Imaging Department only (not required for MRI Tech)

References

• Two professional references verified within 2 years of start
• For inpatient RNs (MS, MS/TELE, IMC, Stepdown, ICU): one reference must be from most recent acute care assignment with performance comments

Additional Notes

• Prior travel experience is required (1st time travelers not accepted)

This position is ideal for experienced Radiology or Cardiology professionals with at least 2 years of specialty experience and prior travel contract experience, seeking a 13-week travel assignment in Wisconsin with a 7-on/7-off shift schedule.
