Job Description
Seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in Operating Room (OR) procedures with proficiency in C-arm and O-arm coverage. The role involves performing X-ray procedures in surgical settings across outpatient, inpatient, and Level I Trauma centers, including teaching hospitals.
Work Schedule:
- 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (4x10's)
- On-call responsibilities required
Responsibilities
- Provide C-arm and O-arm coverage in the Operating Room
- Perform X-ray procedures for surgical interventions
- Collaborate with surgical and medical teams to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain equipment functionality and adhere to safety protocols
- Participate in ongoing education and training
Qualifications
- Valid Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification with ARRT registration
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a Level I Trauma or teaching hospital
- Proficiency in operating C-arm and O-arm systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Required Certifications & Compliance
- Radiologic Technologist certification (ARRT)
- BLS certification (AHA Instructor/Provider or RQI acceptable)
- Background checks including 7-year criminal history, FBI/BCI fingerprinting (Ohio-specific codes apply)
- Drug screening: Negative 10-panel drug test within 3 months of start
- Physical exam within 1 year of start confirming good health and free of contagious disease
- Immunizations and health documents:
- Tdap vaccine (adult dose after age 11/12)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titers
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B titer or 3-vaccine series (declination acceptable)
- Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season (10/1 - 3/31)
- Annual review and acknowledgment of facility policies including dress code, hand hygiene, ethics, and compliance
- Completion of Fraud, Waste, and Abuse training certificate prior to start and annually thereafter
- Unit-specific competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency exams as required
Additional Requirements
- 2 professional references required, including at least 1 from a manager or formal leadership
- Employment application and skills checklist required
- Orientation Safety Manual acknowledgment annually
- Competency exams including Dysrhythmia/EKG exam for applicable roles (updated annually)
