Travel RN Opportunity - PACU / Preop

Location: Los Alamos, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: PACU / Preop
• Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Shift: Days with some call on nights and weekends
• Weekly Hours: Approximately 40 hours
• Call Requirements: Once notified of a case, must be onsite within 30 minutes
• Number of Openings: 1
• Unit: 3rd Floor, 3 beds
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2
• Patient Population: Primarily adult; ENT cases once a month
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments: Appendectomy, Gallbladder procedures

Requirements

• Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in PACU specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• Licenses: Registered Nurse License
• Skills:

  • Prior PACU experience required
  • Preop experience preferred
• Float Requirements: Shared position with Preop; no other float expectations

• EHR Systems: CQI, Medhost
• Dress Code: No open-toed shoes or fake fingernails allowed
• Facility: 47-bed acute care facility with approximately 300 healthcare employees
