Job Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: Edgewood, Kentucky
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Position Details

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Shift: 4x10 hour shifts (options between 07:00 - 18:30) with one day off (schedule determined upon offer)
• On-Call:

  • One call day per week, every other week
  • Additional 3 call days within a 60-day period (tech can sign up) including two weekdays and one weekend day
  • Weekend call every 7-8 weeks (Friday 5:00pm to Monday 7:00am)
• Floating: Potential to float between multiple nearby locations as needed (rare, based on staffing and case volume)

Experience & Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech experience
• Travel Experience: Travel experience highly preferred (first-time travelers considered)
• Certifications:

  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Kentucky Radiologic License (KBMIRT) can be pending upon submission
• Charting System: EPIC experience required

Health & Safety Requirements

• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered on a case-by-case basis)
• Tattoos/piercings: No nose rings or gauged earrings allowed
• Nails: Natural fingernails less than 1/4" in length; polish is acceptable

• Scrubs/apparel must not have any agency or brand logos (strictly enforced)

Documentation & Compliance Requirements

• Proof of I9 or attestation
• Government-issued photo ID carried during work hours
• Background checks including 7-year criminal check and nationwide sex offender check
• Education verification (diploma/transcript as applicable)
• Various certifications and competency exams depending on role (e.g., ACLS, BLS)
• Physical exam within 12 months, updated annually
• Fit mask test within 12 months, updated annually (specific mask types required)
• Immunizations and titers for: Tdap, TB, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start (THC not required)
• References: Two clinical references within 2 years required
